Couples & Family
Being a wholehearted follower of Christ involves becoming more like Him. One exciting, fulfilling way God helps us do that is through our marriages. Martin Luther captures the essence of marriage aptly:
"There is no more lovely, friendly and charming relationship, communion or company than a good marriage."
When we are lovingly unified in our marriage relationships the way Christ is unified with the Church, and the way the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are unified as God, we reflect and live out the character and the love of God. This transformation in our lives brings Him honor and us joy.
The Mission of Couples Ministries:
To foster the work of Christ in couples' lives and relationships, further forming His loving character and purposes in them.
Vision of Couples Ministries:
As God works through our marriage relationships to make us complete in our love for each other through His Spirit, we will experience fulfillment; cause others to see and desire what God offers; and, most importantly, please Him.
The Values of Couples Ministries:
Unity, mutual submission, faithfulness, endurance, presence, cultivation, trust, respect, joy, gratitude, praise: LOVE.
