Restoration is a special support group where you can find help
as you recover from the hurt of separation or divorce.
The newspapers and television are filled with stories of hurting people. Unfortunately, even Christian people find themselves in situations that cause pain and seem to interrupt our relationship to God and the ones we love.
Today divorce ranks high in the Top Ten list of life-changing events. Leaving hurting people and families in its wake, divorce does not stop outside the doors of the church. The result is seen in people who feel alone and afraid, often even when seated among a group of believers in church week after week.
However, the good news is that within the walls of the church (the "Body of Christ") there is healing and love available to those who are hurting. The Bible clearly identifies the one main characteristic God desires for his church; love. It is out of our love for him that we want to offer love, acceptance, and healing to you.
Instead of feeling ashamed and alone, God invites us to be restored to him through his grace. Divorce will never diminish God's love for you. He still stands with arms open wide to accept you as His own.

The Restoration ministry format has been set up to provide:
- A safe atmosphere where each person can feel free to share his or her feelings.
- Healing and acceptance as you put your life back together after a divorce or as you are experiencing a divorce
- Restoration in your own life as well as in relationship to your friends and family
- Restoration to God's love and acceptance as you learn to apply His grace and forgiveness for yourself and others
Schedule:
Restoration Ministry has three levels of classes and support groups.
Level 1: DivorceCare
This 12-week Bible-based video seminar with small group discussion which encourages healing and offers acceptance as you put your life back together after or during a divorce. It is a special place of encouragement, information and sharing.
DivorceCare groups meet weekly, providing you with an ongoing "support team" as you deal with the issues surrounding your separation or divorce. Sessions are held September and March each year. To join a DivorceCare group contact Kathi at 327-4422 x119 or . Registration is required.

Level 2: Boundaries/Healthy Relationships
Two video programs offered in a Life Group setting here at the church.
Boundaries: A biblical view of boundaries: what they are, what they protect, how they are developed, how they are injured, how to repair them, and how to use them. Appropriate boundaries can help you achieve the relationships and purposes God intends for you.
Healthy Relationsips: A video series, based on the book Safe People by Henry Cloud and John Townsend, to help you discover "how to find relationships that are good for you and avoid those that aren't".

Level 3: Life Groups
Life Groups are an important part of Restoration.
Life Groups are designed to provide people with care, fellowship and discipleship. We want to get each person connected in a small group to build relationships that are committed and transparent. The goal of the Life Group is to help others become uncompromising followers of Christ.
