AdventureLand Check-In

HOW DOES IT WORK?

• Express-Check cards are issued to parents. These can be used at the computers at each check-in station. The check-in assistant can either input your child’s last name or your family number. A printer will be activated which instantly prints a nametag and a retrieval receipt with the parent’s previously provided information and instructions for the AdventureLand staff. The child’s attendance will instantly be recorded into the database.

• At the check-in station, parents are given a receipt with the registration information. This receipt must be returned at check-out time. Don’t lose it! Classroom staff are not authorized to release a child without a receipt. If a receipt is lost, a director will be called, and the parent will be required to provide a picture ID and wait until all other children have been picked up.

• If it is necessary to contact you, your Express-Check number will be displayed on the screens in the auditorium. We ask that you respond promptly by going to your child’s check-in station.

WHAT IS IT?

Express-Check is an automated “sign-in" system for Life Center kids ages birth through grade 5.

WHY DO WE USE IT?

Each week approximately 900 children check into children’s classrooms.

IT’S DESIGNED TO:

• Speed up and simplify routine and repetitive sign-in procedures.

• Reduce congestion in classroom reception areas.

• Increase security by refining sign-out procedures.

• Increase time for teachers to welcome parents and children.

• Reduce paperwork.

• Increase safety by communicating parents’ instructions more readily to teachers, including information on child’s allergies, special needs, and location of the parent.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Complete a family registration card at a check-in station.

You will keep this card with you and will return it upon your next visit to AdventureLand. After attending for two weeks, your family will be issued an Express-Check number. This number identifies all the children in your family. Each child is designated a separate digit that defines them and the order they were registered in the database.
Ex: Family # is 3007
Johnny’s # is 30071

As you register a new student, you can add them to your existing card.
Suzy’s number is 30072
