Family Homework Given 2-19

Pick a night and sit down together as a family, devote it to each other without distractions.

1. Read Luke 10:38-42. What is the “one thing that is needed”? Do you ever find yourself distracted from the Lord? What are some things you could do to keep from being distracted?
2. Read Luke 2:46. Who is present in the temple? What does this verse say Jesus is doing first?
3. Pray together as a family. Pray you will not be distracted from the Lord and pray for great listening skills.
4. Prepare for Sunday. Draw a picture of yourself listening to Jesus or make a list of people you should be listening to.
5. Memorize our verse.
