Pick a night and sit down together as a family, devote it to each other without distractions.

- Read Matthew 4:18-22. What were these men doing when Jesus called them? How long did it take them to respond to Jesus’ call?
- Read 1 Thessalonians 5:12-24. Review the things Paul is instructing people to do. What is God’s will for your life (v18)? Pray together, thanking God for His faithfulness and ask for His help in following Jesus.
- Prepare for Sunday. Make a list or draw a picture of ways you can live your life for Jesus every day.
- Memorize our verse.
