Our Mission

To honor God by partnering with parents to help their children become whole-hearted followers of Christ.

Our Desire

The desire of our classroom is to bring students in this age group to a greater understanding of God's love, God's Word, and Christ's desire of sharing the great love of the Creator of the universe with the world around them; while at the same time giving young students the opportunity to accept Christ into their hearts if they have not already done so.

Our Expectation: Transformation

HANG TIME: We hang out! We spend the first 10 minutes of class getting the energy up. This is anything from boardgames, foursquare, to foosball, and air hockey.

WORSHIP: We take time, about 20 minutes, to praise and worship the Lord. Our live worship team is leading our children in the relevant music for the day and the age group. We are blessed to have a great worship team willing to bring glory, honor, and praise to the great God we serve and want to praise with every fiber of our being.

TEACHING & SMALL GROUPS:  While up front teaching has its place, the real place to get students to open up and share the experience with one another is in the small group setting. Up front teaching will get the students prepared with the topic and some teaching,  but the amazing small group leaders that serve will help students digest the Word in their small groups. We are blessed to spend 20-30 minutes with our students in quality small groups.

These four areas, Hang Time, Worship, Teaching, and Small Groups blend together to be the student's experience with Jesus each weekend. We seek to get the most out of every weekend service, so students know Jesus better when they leave than when they arrived.

Visualize it, the sheer awesomeness of having students praying for students, sharing the experience of what Christ is doing in their lives, and living out what they learn in Sunday School classes builds the transformation we long to see in our students!

Volunteers - log in your volunteer hours @ Reward Volunteers: an iPhone and web app that tracks and rewards the efforts of volunteers and the organizations they serve. Using Facebook Connect, volunteers track their hours, share photos, and post their activity to Facebook. The more hours accrued and the more sharing that occurs, the more chances volunteers have to win prizes, and the more chances organizations have to win money.

Our Curriculum

God's Word is the roadmap for our lives and we are excited about what we will learn from God's Word in the coming year! We have changed our format in the K-5th classes to follow the format of the main service. That's right! Your children will be hearing a similar message to what you hear in the main service. Parents are given weekly Family Homework to study with their children to prepare them for the next Sunday's lesson.
