Worship

Here's a great post from one of the blogs I follow, Empowering Families.  Discuss what worship means with your child.  Learn the songs they are signing here in AdventureLand and sing them during the week.  Find out what other ways your children can express their love for Christ and CREATE!

When it comes to Children and Worship here are 3 three key things to remember.

#1 Kids love to sing!

Worship is an expression of the heart. So let them express it. Doesn’t have to be pretty, or even “on key”- just real. (It helps if it’s music /songs that they enjoy to listen to)

#2 Caught not Taught!

You have to model this to your children. If you are in an environment that is not conducive to having your children with you during your worship time, then consider joining your child during their worship time.

#3 Worship is more than singing!

Explain to your child that worship is so much more than singing. It’s “creating” for God. It could be painting, writing…it’s all worship as long as it’s an act of loving God with all you have.
