If you are in kindergarten, first or second grade, consider yourself lucky! We do a bunch of fun stuff in the elementary area, including games, crafts, and, of course, eating candy. But the focus is on learning about Jesus which is done in three ways: “Kid-led” worship, interactive Bible lessons, and powerful small group times.
Worship is one of my favorite times as I see children lifting their hands as they sing to Jesus. I can tell they are truly worshiping Him. Our Bible lessons are always hands-on and typically include puppet shows and projects that reinforce what is being taught. The most important aspect of our program is small group time when five or six kids meet with an adult leader to discuss the lesson and pray.
