Serve
If you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus and live life to the full, you must use your gifts to serve others. Serving gets you beyond yourself, and you've got to get beyond yourself to grow. A baby's world is all about himself; an adult is aware of and cares for others. If you don't serve, you stay a spiritual baby, wrapped up in yourself. You are just a consumer rather than a contributor; a sucker Christian.
God gave you a unique mix of gifts, abilities, personality and experience that equip you to make a unique contribution that no one else can make. Our church needs you! Our community needs you! Our world needs you! So be a server, not a sucker.
